OH. MY. GOSH!!! What a find! This amazing place is tucked away in the back of a liquor store and hidden from most except for locals. We were fortunate to have met a local who let us in on the secret. The menu boasts a wide variety of offerings and practically everything is homemade. I had the fried chicken sandwich, which was perfectly crispy outside while moist and juicy inside, on a homemade hamburger bun. My friend had the chicken parmesan sandwich and found it to be excellent as well. We both opted for our side dish to be tater tots...again HOMEMADE and out of this world. Seriously!! No mass produced buns or tots here!! Several large-screen TVs were tuned in to about 4 different sporting events while we were there, making it easy to follow the games while enjoying the utterly extraordinary fare. Unless you meet a local who gives you "the scoop," you may have to actively seek out this place but it will be well worth your time and your effort will be gastronomically rewarded. ENJOY!

If you want to mingle among locals, try some of the different beers of the area, or just drink and/or watch sports this is your place
Surely the best pub food I had while in Jackson. -

It's a bar! But it's really a good one with honest drinks and much better food than you find in most bars.
I'm having some bourbon with my wings salad. Nice idea and they pull it off well. For the salad, their version of wings is really chicken slices that have a light crispy batter and the requisite spicy sauce. Comes with an iceberg wedge chopped tomatoes and onions and dressed with a blue cheese dressing. Really hit the spot! -

List this as a "sports bar" but when asked to raise the volume, their waitstaff returned a beta response to requesting higher volume "maybe, we'll see". A few of the tables wanted us to ask. How can you not answer with a sincere yes or no!
We left later for Cutty's. Better food. Better audio. Better TVs. The true sports bar in this area is Cutty's. The crowd was there as well. -

Business sold and locals now hate this place now. They Advertise a 3oz Lobstah with bacon, avocado and tomato on wheat - NOT. Their food needs some examination by USDA as well as local (non-existent) food examiners. I have lived here over 30 YEARS and this has gone from best to WORST.
